Berlin / Munich, 15th February 2016 – At Sympatex Technologies, employees enjoy an exceptional workplace culture. So on 12th February, the former Federal Minister of Economics, Wolfgang Clement, presented the company in Berlin with the renowned “Top Job Seal”. The “Top Job” mentor praised Sympatex especially for its strategic orientation towards a sustainable securing of skilled personnel by increasing the attractiveness as an employer. This is the first award as a TOP employer for the ecological alternative among functional textile specialists. The “Centre for Employer Attractiveness”, zeag GmbH, awards companies with the quality seal “Top Job” that support a healthy workplace culture in a remarkable way. This becomes evident regarding the quality of leadership work and, as a consequence, a high level of work satisfaction among the employees, who are able to work under pressure in a seasonally very demanding business performance.
“Top Job” has compared German employers since 2002, and Sympatex was particularly convincing in the categories “Culture & Communication” as well as “Internal Entrepreneurship”. The company, which is based in Munich-Unterföhring, is very successful regarding the involvement of employees in strategic planning during regular team meetings as well as the company management’s transparent information policy about operating and financial results. Excellent internal communication and strong shared values create a high level of motivation among employees and thus a clearly better performance in a complex international competitive environment.
Regarding the category “Internal Entrepreneurship”, the employees are offered entrepreneurial scope, which has led to numerous ideas for product and process improvements. A new clothing technology that has recently been presented in Munich at the sports equipment fair ISPO 2016 was also created by suggestions of employees regarding the innovation of products.

The scientists of the Institute for Leadership and Personnel Management of the University St. Gallen under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch asked the personnel management online about their HR methods and instruments. Furthermore, they carried out an employee survey that made up two thirds of the end result. The other third was made up by the HR instruments.
