Fluorocarbon-free clothing

Fluorine compounds that are used for the water-repellent equipment of textiles, so-called fluorocarbons, are harmful to the environment. They accumulate in the environment and have been found in the ground water, amongst other things, according to numerous studies. Working closely with Rudolf Chemie, a specialist for bionic textile finishes, Sympatex has therefore developed the first fluorocarbon-free equipment for textiles. With BIONIC FINISH ECO® and the environmentally friendly Sympatex products, functional clothing can be produced without any fluorocarbon components from now on.
