Sympatex will be present at ISPO 2024 in the Sustainability Hub (Hall A2), showcasing its innovative approaches for a sustainable future in the textile industry. Central to its presence is a poster in the Sustainability Hub highlighting the importance of the Digital Fabric Library and the urgent need for fiber-to-fiber solutions across the industry.

The Digital Fabric Library by Sympatex provides transparent, digital access to material data, enabling sustainable decision-making in product development. Combined with the consistent fiber-to-fiber strategy, Sympatex is setting new benchmarks for circularity in textile production. These approaches reflect the company’s vision of driving an innovative and collaborative future for the industry.

On Tuesday, December 3, at 11 a.m., Carmen Keim, Colorist and Digital Pioneer at Sympatex, and Helena Gillerblad, PR and Communication at Sympatex, will host a special tour. Together with the Greenroomvoice team, they will present the Greenroomvoice Sustainability Tour—an inspiring highlight for those interested in sustainable innovations.

The tour will spotlight ten selected partners showcasing their groundbreaking approaches and products at the Sustainability Hub. This unique opportunity offers deeper insights into important solutions and demonstrates how collaboration and creativity can help shape a more sustainable future.

A key highlight is Sympatex’s Digital Fabric Library, an innovative tool revolutionizing material interaction. While physical fabric samples remain available when needed, the digital library provides virtual access to an extensive range of materials. This approach reduces the consumption of physical resources like fabric and energy while minimizing CO2 emissions caused by shipping.

Carmen Keim emphasizes, “The Digital Fabric Library not only improves our efficiency but aligns with our commitment to sustainable practices. It marks a significant step toward a greener future for the textile industry.”

Another milestone is Sympatex’s Fiber2Fiber concept, a forward-looking initiative aiming to return used textiles to a closed-loop system. The goal is to recover polyester fibers from discarded clothing and use them as high-quality raw materials for new functional fabrics.

With Fiber2Fiber, Sympatex underscores its commitment to circular economy principles, proving that innovative technologies can drastically reduce resource consumption and transform textile waste into valuable resources. The company continues to develop new Fiber2Fiber products each year, progressively replacing older collections.

Jessica Dedora, Product Manager at Sympatex, states, “With Fiber2Fiber, we are harnessing the power of the circular economy. Our goal is not only to use recycled textiles but also to design our products to be circular. By reusing polyester-based materials, we are creating a future-proof solution that offers both ecological and economic benefits,” says Jessica Dedora, Product Manager at Sympatex.

Kim Scholze, CSMO at Sympatex, emphasizes, “Sustainability can no longer be an optional step—it’s a duty for the entire industry. With the Digital Fabric Library and our commitment to circular materials, we offer concrete solutions that are urgently needed.”

Sympatex invites all ISPO visitors to explore its poster in the Sustainability Hub and learn about the latest advancements in fiber-to-fiber and digital material solutions.
