Sympatex at Performance Days in Munich: Stretching Performance – and Circularity

The ingredient brand once again showcases what happens when performance meets circular design — with innovations across apparel, corporate & workwear, and footwear that combine technical excellence with future-ready responsibility.

Apparel Highlight: Singapore Starlight F2F AS

Sympatex introduces Singapore Starlight F2F AS, an advanced 3-layer performance laminate combining freedom of movement, breathability, and circularity.
“The soft, stretchy face fabric and backing — combined with our extremely elastic membrane — provide maximum comfort for sports and outdoor activities,” explains Jessica Dedora, Product Management Apparel. “The backing contains Fiber2Fiber RENU yarn, making it both functional and sustainable — ideal for cycling, running, hiking, and trekking.”
Made from 100% recycled polyester and featuring a fluorine-free water-repellent finish, Singapore Starlight F2F AS represents the next step in Sympatex’s transformation toward full circularity by 2030.
The laminate has been selected as a Curated Item at the Trend Forum Fabrics at Performance Days, recognized for its balance of performance, lightness, and sustainable construction.
Another highlight in the apparel segment is Kyoto F2F Spring AS, a versatile allrounder laminate that is lightweight, packable, and well-suited for bike, running, fashion, and lifestyle applications.
Corporate & Workwear and Motorbike Segment
Circular materials are increasingly finding their way into corporate and workwear as well. Sympatex’s Minzhu Spring F2F AS laminate delivers robust weather protection, breathability, and comfort — with a PFAS-free C0 finish and mono-material polyester construction designed for recycling. These solutions demonstrate how durability and sustainability can align in everyday work environments.
Minzhu Spring F2F AS was also selected for the Trend Forum Fabrics at Performance Days Munich in March 2025, underlining its outstanding combination of function and responsibility.

Footwear: Action AS and Moisture-Tech by Sympatex®
In the footwear sector, Sympatex presents its Action AS laminate — a 100% polyester mono-material engineered for durability and circularity. It combines excellent waterproofness above 1000 mbar, strong breathability, and impressive durability, proven in field tests covering ≥900 km under real outdoor conditions. Wearers reported good comfort and reliable performance across varying temperatures and terrains.
Also featured is Moisture-Tech by Sympatex®, an innovative waterproof lining laminate that actively manages moisture inside the shoe. The technology’s hydrophilic intermediate layer quickly wicks and buffers excess moisture, creating a cooler, drier microclimate and up to 45% less heat inside the boot compared to competitor technologies (Empa test report No. 461774).
The result: greater comfort, faster drying, and reduced odor formation — proven in outdoor and professional footwear.
