1938: Construction and acquisition of weaving mills with up to 1,000 looms
1980: Further development of a cellophane covering material that had been created in the 1970s for the food industry
1986: Sympatex, now established as a brand, brings its first textile products onto the market featuring its blue triangle logo
2000: Foundation of Ploucquet Textiles Zittau GmbH
2001: 75% acquisition of the Sympatex shares
2004: 100% takeover of Sympatex Technologies
2006: Morgan Stanley and Annex Capital Partners take over the Ploucquet Group
2008: 100% takeover of Sympatex Technologies and Ploucquet Textiles Zittau GmbH by Morgan Stanley and Annex Capital
