SYMPATEX PERFORMANCE: OPTIMAL FUNCTIONAL textile FOR HIGH-PERFORMANCE SPORT

Professional sports equipment has to be 100% reliable. This calls for extremely hard-wearing materials. On the one hand, functional textile have to offer optimum protection against the cold and wet; and on the other, they need to provide essential climate control when the wearer perspires. The answer is Sympatex PERFORMANCE. This innovative high-tech functional system is 100% wind- and waterproof, without skimping on optimal breathability – even under extreme conditions. Its sophisticated workmanship ensures a perfect microclimate with maximum wearer comfort and optimum performance. The clothing’s high performance levels are maintained at all times, even under extreme bodily or mechanical stress.

Tests have shown that Sympatex PERFORMANCE laminates can withstand water columns of up to 25 m (25,000 mm). Special additional guidelines ensure that the clothing is optimally tailored to the individual requirements of athletes in the areas of fun sports (e.g. skiing, snowboarding and paragliding), active sports (e.g. cycling or running) and high-performance sports (e.g. outdoor or trekking).

OUR QUALITY PROMISE

Every item of clothing and footwear featuring a Sympatex PERFORMANCE laminate has been tested exhaustively in the Sympatex laboratories to make sure that it has the proper workmanship, durability and waterproof and windproof characteristics. Independent tests performed by the Hohenstein Institute have confirmed the optimum functionality of Sympatex laminates even in extreme conditions.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND PROCESSING

Depending on their intended use and requirements, the various functions of the membrane system can be strengthened or enhanced with additional functions such as Sympatex Reflexion, higH2Out and Airflow. Sympatex has developed innovative additional functions and specific processing techniques that allow optimum adaptation to individual requirements.

CARE

Machine washing and dry-cleaning are no problem, but fabric softener should not be used. In order to ensure a continuously high level of breathability, it is recommended that the outer material be re-waterproofed as soon as water stops beading on the outside. Please follow the instructions on the care label when washing or ironing. Do not use creams with a high oil content on footwear.
